a great book to read to your son (or daughter). My little buddy is
6. This 248 page cracker, served as superb cliffhanging
entertainment for bedtime after bedtime for weeks. If you can
combine it first with an exiting fossil hunt on the Isle of Wight or
the Jurassic Coast, then all the better. We loved this book. A super
romp across the fossil beach, then across millions of years, then
across alternative worlds in the company of the eccentric, kind, and
inventive Professor P, and good friends and adventurers, young Peter
and Tara. A brilliant, happy adventure that will not only entertain,
but will subtly and simply introduce some cutting edge scientific
concepts too. Plus as a bonus there's a great guide all about the
formation and types of fossils at the end, which is easy to
understand for all ages from 6 to 60,000,000. Highly recommended!”

a great read because it teaches you about
dinosaurs and fossils and the characters are also funny
(I like Floppy the best!). My whole family have read the
book and we all really enjoyed reading it.
I have been on the
website with my mum and I enjoyed reading the facts and

did like the book very much because of the way it was written. I
like the story plan. I like the idea of a time machine also, I like
the fossil guide. I like the way that you keep the reader interested
all the time. It keeps you in suspense even at the end. The story is
full of adventures. My favourite adventure is when Peter, Tara and
Floppy were in the Jurassic Period because it is so unusual. My
favourite chapters are the Safe and Shark Attack. It was difficult
to put the book down.”
